Ten candidates are elected to the Boston School Committee.

John Brett (D), George Brock (R), Thomas Kemp (D), William Merritt (D), Mark Mulvey (R), Robert Treat Paine Jr. (R), Phineas Pierce (R), and James Jackson Storrow (R) are elected to three-year terms. Joseph Morrill (R) and Randall Morris (R) are elected to one year terms. All of the Republicans were “reformers” endorsed by the Public School Association.
